For offer is a beautiful Art Deco antique gloss plated Dutch liqueur jug complete with original stopper.

From the South Plateel factory, Holland, approx.

1920s and Gloss plated

The jug has a decoration with floral motifs in black, eggplant, dark green and light green, with black stopper.

This jug is a typical example of the Dutch Jugenstil from that period.

The jug is made of hand-painted gloss earthenware.

The jug is marked with 592/1 Gouda Lazarus gate Holland, the signature of the painter and in red 62.
