Japanese Meiji (19hC) rattan (woven bamboo) pipecase (kiseruzutsu) with metal mounts and a hinged lid, and a soft leather tobacco pouch (tabako-Ire) with a metal clasp (shakudo mae-kanagu) modelled as a shishi. Pipecase measures 16.3 x 5.5 x 2cm, pouch 9.7 x 8.2cm.
