Treasure Trove Worcester Ltd has dated this French Bronze Male Figure to the 19th Century.
The figure, confidently posed, stands barefoot, raising a laurel wreath in his right hand and holding a classical cup in his left — an allegory of Victory or Triumph. The modelling shows good anatomical detail, typical of the Beaux-Arts tradition.

The bronze retains its original dark brown patina with natural wear to the high points. Subtle casting lines are visible to the upper arms. Two small drill holes to the front of the base indicate where a title plaque was once mounted.
