A stunning and impressive **Chinese Famille Rose porcelain shell-shaped dish**, dating from the **18th or early 19th century**. Beautifully modelled with an elegant scalloped form, this large export ware dish is richly hand-painted in vibrant enamels, making it a striking decorative piece.
The centre features a finely executed **pheasant (or phoenix)** perched upon a flowering branch, surrounded by colourful **peonies and chrysanthemums**—traditional symbols of prosperity, beauty and longevity in Chinese art. The design closely resembles the celebrated **''Double Peacock Service''** produced for the European export market during the Qing Dynasty.
The wide scalloped border is decorated with an intricate **iron-red foliate scroll design**, a characteristic feature of quality Qing export porcelain, beautifully framing the central scene.
