**Fine Pair of Antique Mason's Ironstone 'School House' Pattern Stoneware Jugs – Georgian c.1815–1830**

A superb and increasingly scarce pair of antique **Mason's Ironstone** stoneware jugs, believed to feature the highly desirable **' School House' (also known as 'Conversation')** pattern. Dating to the **Georgian period, circa 1815–1830**, these impressive jugs display the distinctive bulbous 'club' form for which early Mason's wares are renowned.

Beautifully decorated in the classic **Imari palette** of rich cobalt blue, iron red and burnt orange, each jug is enhanced with ornate hand-gilded foliage and finely detailed landscape and floral scenes, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of the period. There is usual wear to gilding consistent with age, and one has a repaired handle.

Both jugs are impressed with a raised **'10'** to the underside and make a striking decorative display, whether exhibited together or as part of a collection of early English pottery.
