Antique Early Metalware 17thc Bronze Mortar Dated 1690 - English - Somerset Foundry.

A fine quality 17thc bronze mortar, from a Somerset foundry, with the early date of 1690 cast into one side and an attractive ''heart'' design on the other side.....the top rim is flared out and it stands on a slightly raised flared base....in very good condition for its age...
