ABOUT BEETHOVEN
He expanded the scope of symphonies, sonatas, and quartets while continuing to compose some of his greatest masterpieces after losing his hearing.Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany, and later moved to Vienna, Austria, which became his permanent home. His life and music are generally categorized into three periods:Early Period (up to 1802): Rooted in the styles of his predecessors, Mozart and Haydn. Notable works include his first two piano concertos and Symphony No. 1.Middle Period (1803–1814): Known as his "heroic" period, featuring dramatic, expansive works born from his struggle with encroaching deafness. Highlights include Symphony No. 3 (Eroica), Symphony No. 5, and Symphony No. 6 (Pastoral).Late Period (1815–1827): Characterized by profound emotional depth, complex harmonies, and structural innovation. His masterpieces from this time include his final piano sonatas, the Missa Solemnis, and the groundbreaking Symphony No. 9.

Salvatore Mousù (sometimes spelled Salvator) was a well-known Maltese cultural historian, author, and passionate advocate for the protection of Malta's historic architecture.
He previously resided at Villa San Felice, located on Triq il-Gardell in Kappara.A recognized figure within the community, he was a council member for the historical preservation group Din l-Art Helwa, and an avid classical music and Italian opera enthusiast.
