Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Trilogy rings from the Edwardian period (19011910) feature three prominent gemstones representing past, present, and future. Light, precise claw settings in platinum or gold were central to the eras refined jewellery design.

Rings from around 1910 frequently combined yellow gold shanks with platinum settings to enhance the brightness of diamonds. Central gemstones, such as natural unheated rubies and hand-cut diamonds, were typically secured in open claw mounts.

Authentic period pieces exhibit hand-cut gemstones with distinctive faceting, hand-crafted settings, and period hallmarks on the inner band. Gemmological examination often reveals natural inclusions characteristic of untreated gemstones.

An antique ruby ring functions as a statement dress ring or a distinctive alternative engagement ring. The vibrant red hue pairs well alongside simple yellow gold bands or tailored evening attire.

Clean gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush, avoiding ultrasonic systems if gemstones contain natural inclusions. Store in a padded jewellery box to prevent diamonds from scratching surrounding metals.
