Antique Rustic Dresser Base

Description

A characterful antique rustic dresser base, fitted with three central drawers flanked by two smaller drawers, all retaining turned wooden knob handles. Below, a shaped apron is supported by turned front legs and square rear supports united by a full-length potboard base. Constructed in solid oak throughout with a rich, deep colour, honest wear and an abundance of age and character. Overall, a lovely example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good rustic condition throughout. Solid and sound with signs of age and use including age-related marks, scratches and wear throughout. There is unevenness and variation in colour to the finish as pictured, typical of a well-used country piece. Overall, it remains structurally solid with plenty of character.
