This is a beautiful antique Chinese (Qing) botanical watercolour dating from the mid 19th Century. The well executed painting depicts butterflies surrounded by native flora.The watercolour is in stunning bold gouache colours on pith and is presented in a neat gilt frame with a soft raspberry mount.
