Description

A beautiful early 20th century Chinese reverse painting on glass in its original frame dating from around 1900. The painting is finely executed in delightful gouache colours and is a lovely subject with beautiful maiden in an interior scene with her beautiful cat in the foreground. The painting is a good size, larger than the norm for this type, being 73 cms by 50 cms overall. (Not including the ornate hangar)

It is in excellent original condition.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
