We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Jewellery from the Edwardian period, circa 1901 to 1915, often features light, intricate wirework, delicate scrolls, and garland motifs. Rose gold and low-carat gold alloys were commonly paired with deep red garnets, reflecting a shift towards airy, ornate designs enabled by refined metalworking techniques.

Bracelets from this period frequently utilised hollow or tubular 9ct rose gold wire formed into scroll and gate-style links. Gemstones such as almandine garnets were typically secured using collet settings or rub-over bezel mounts integrated directly into the openwork framework.

Authenticity is evaluated through British hallmark stamps detailing carat purity, maker marks, and date letters, alongside construction markers such as hand-drawn wirework, hand-set collet settings, and period-correct tongue clasps or safety chains.

An antique link bracelet can be worn as a standalone statement piece alongside tailored wristwear or stacked with plain gold bands. Its warm metal tones and rich gemstone shades complement both neutral formalwear and contemporary casual tailoring.

Clean gently using a soft-bristled brush, mild dish soap, and lukewarm water, ensuring the piece is dried thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals, and store the bracelet flat in a fabric-lined box to protect the link joints and gemstone facets.
