Description

‘Yardleys Old English Lavender’, a Dresden porcelain advertising group, c. 1930. Modelled as a young girl with two younger children, on a grassy mound. She carries a basket of lavender in her right hand, and a bunch of lavender in her left hand, whilst the boy carries a further basket of lavender.

Set upon a rococo scroll base, with a central reserve, inscribed ‘YARDLEY’S Old English LAVENDER’.

Impressed factory mark to the base.

Height – 30.5 cm, 12”.

Width - 19.5 cm, 7 3/4”.

Depth - 13.5 cm, 5 1/3”

Condition – Excellent condition. No damage. No restoration.
