This is a lovely French antique bistro mirror made in C1830, featuring original distressed glass and can be hung landscape or portrait.

It is a perfect statement piece for any home.

Lovely gilded reeded frame. The back has been replaced at some point with old paper.

These frames were constructed using timber substrate and gesso moulding, finished with water gilding or oil gilding techniques where delicate sheets of gold leaf were applied over a clay bole base.
