Anglo Indian Wedding Bench Rams Head

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an excellent quality, stylish Indian sofa with amazing rams head features to the back and a good swept Klismos design. The bench has a heavy wooden frame wrapped in repousse metals with beautiful detail. This has copper brass, and white metal and stunning cast solid bronze rams heads. The seat is covered in a good quality, thick leather hide that is a very dark green (almost black) covering. This is in excellent, sound condition and is very rare to find in this form. The sofa bench measures 140 cms wide 55 cms deep by 90 cms high.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.

You are most welcome to visit the shop but please always check to confirm we are open before travelling.
