Finely-drawn Elegant Early C19th Late George III Period Rectangular Mahogany Lamp Or Occasional Table Of Scarce Design And Freestanding Form.

Finely-drawn elegant early C19th late George III period rectangular mahogany lamp or occasional table of scarce design and freestanding form .
 
Raised on slender turned and tapering legs , the rectangular top fitted with a single ‘cock-beaded’ frieze drawer retaining it’s original turned mahogany knob pulls and blue paper lining . The other three friezes having faux or ‘dummy’ drawer fronts with corresponding ‘cock-beaded’ fronts and all retaining their matching original turned mahogany knobs, all providing perfect symmetry to the table .
 
The rectangular figured mahogany top having a slight overhang to the frame with a plain edge .
 
In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs with a rich colour and patina .
