It measures 12cm (4 3/16") wide and 5.5cm (2 1/4") high.

We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A slop bowl, also known as a waste bowl or slop basin, was a key component of 18th-century tea services, used to collect tea leaves and cold remnants before refilling cups.

During the First Period (17511783), Worcester porcelain was crafted using a soft-paste ceramic formula containing soapstone, which was glazed and fired before hand-painted overglaze enamel or underglaze decoration was applied.

Authentic pieces generally exhibit a pale greenish or yellowish translucency when held against strong light, precise hand-painted brushwork with minor natural variations, and characteristic foot rim profiles or factory marks.

Display the bowl on a sideboard top, inside a glazed cabinet alongside period glassware, or atop coffee table books to introduce historical texture to a room scheme.

Wash gently by hand using lukewarm water and mild liquid soap, avoiding abrasive pads, chemical cleaners, or submersion, and keep away from direct sunlight to preserve delicate overglaze enamels.
