Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A crystal regulator is a style of mantel clock popularised in the late 19th century, defined by four clear bevelled glass panels that display the internal clockwork mechanism and pendulum.

These timepieces are constructed using cast brass or gilt bronze cases, thick bevelled glass panes, porcelain enamel dials, and mechanical movements with brass or mercury-filled pendulums.

Authentic Ansonia clocks feature trademark stamps on the dial or movement backplate, precise casting on the gilt metal casing, and original bevelled glass windows.

Placing a gilt metal timepiece on a dark wood sideboard, marble fireplace mantel, or hallway console table provides a rich visual anchor that complements modern architectural lines.

Maintain the finish by dusting gently with a clean, dry microfibre cloth, avoiding liquid chemicals, brass polishes, or abrasives that can degrade the original gilding.
