Lee Hawkins Antiques & Interiors has dated this Crystal Regulator Mantel Clock to the 19th Century.
Housed within an exceptionally decorative gilt bronze (ormolu) mounted crystal case, this fine clock displays the rich Rococo Revival styling that characterised some of Ansonia's most desirable productions.

The transparent crystal case allows full appreciation of the exposed movement, pendulum assembly and striking mechanism, transforming the clock into both a functional timepiece and an impressive decorative object.

Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear, patination and surface marks consistent with age and use. One mercury pendulum tube is missing, as photographed. The clock retains excellent decorative appeal and displays beautifully.
