18th Century Red Chalk Picture Of A Nude Male Figure

An 18th Century red chalk study of a nude male figure - watermarked ''1V'' (Jean Villedary of Hattem Holland.) The initials of Jean Villedary as a watermark covers a period of 150 years. It was in use from 1668-1758 in France. From 1758-1812 the production moved to Hattem, Holland. The picture measures 52cm x 42cm including frame. The actual picture measuring 35cm x 25cm. There is some age related minor creasing to the bottom of the picture.
