Beautiful Quality Crystal and Silver Plated Ice Bucket by Mappin & Webb

Description

Dating to around 1910, a really superb quality ice bucket created from a heavy piece of crystal with surface cutting (alternate three circles interspersed by an elongated vertical oval cut), this was hard to photography but you should be able to make out the design on examining the photographs.

The rim and swing handle are electro-plated and signed by top-notch English silversmith, Mappin & Webb.

The bucket comes complete with the silver plated drainer that sits in the bottom for the drips of melting ice to drain through away from the ice.

Dating to around 1910, excellent, undamaged condition, with a rim diameter measuring 4 3/4" and standing 5 3/4" tall and 9" tall to top of handle.
