A mid 19th century mahogany three door bookcase, with carved decoration, England, circa 1940.
 
The cornice has a palmette motif, the glazed doors are decorated with roundel, palmette, and lotus flower designs, central pilasters with capitals of roundels.
 
The oak lined interior of each of the three sections has four shelves of adjustable height.
 
Glazed door with bronze transoms.
