Antique Silver Bowl

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of an antique solid silver bowl with a gardrooned shape and bands of beautiful repousse floral decoration. It has a flared rim and stands on a round foot. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 51g.

It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1910 and the makers Jones & Compton

It is in good condition for its age with no major damages. There are some faint surface marks, minor dinks and knocks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
