A fine and rare Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Porcelain Jardinière c.1805. Of flared shape, with two fixed gilt ring handles, on a round, fixed base, the 'Barr's Orange' ground further gilt with a geometric pattern and Greek key motif and reserving a front panel with a painting of a Kingfisher.  

Incised ‘B’ mark to the base.

Condition: Excellent with no damage or restoration and just a little surface wear

Produced in Worcester between 1804 and 1813, Barr, Flight & Barr porcelain is characterised by high-quality bone china bodies, meticulous hand-painted enamel decoration, neoclassical motifs, and rich gilded detailing.

These pieces were crafted using refined soft-paste or early hybrid bone china bodies, slip-cast or hand-thrown, before undergoing multiple firings for glaze application, detailed enamel painting, and mercury gilding.
