A fantastic early 19th Century William IV Irish well figured mahogany library table attributed to the Dublin maker 'William and Gibton', of exceptional quality and finely hand carved with beautifully rich patination and grain. The moulded top of rectangular form above a simple, shaped and panelled frieze with a stunning centred arrangement of scrolls and richly trailing foliate flanked with a futher pair of scrolls and foliate motif detail to each side. Raised over elegantly tapering ring turned end supports with further sphere and gadroon detail above shaped platform base, terminating on fluted c-scroll feet and well cast brass casters.
