This charming ENGLISH WATERCOLOUR of a BLACK AND WHITE HOUND dates from circa 1850.

Naively painted and mounted in a VICTORIAN MAPLE FRAME, the HOUND stands in the foreground with an outline of a large Country House behind.

There is an old repair to the centre bottom of the painting.

Height: 15 inches (38 cm)

Width: 17.5 inches (44.5 cm)
