An impressive antique cluster ring centred by a 3.50 carat sapphire, certified as being of Myanmar (Burma) origin, and with no indications of heating. The sapphire displays a rich, velvety blue with flashes of royal blue in daylight. Surrounding the sapphire are 13 beautifully matched old European cut diamonds, mounted in a handmade coronet cluster which has been crafted in a rich, warm 20k yellow gold.
Accompanied by a report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
Cut: Round cut sapphire and Old European Cut diamonds.
Colour: The diamonds range from G to H.
Clarity: The sapphire is slightly included. The diamonds range from VS2 to SI1.
Carat: The sapphire is approximately 3.50 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.30 carat.
Circa: 1910.
Size: P 1/2 (UK) or 7 3/4 (US). Free sizing available.
Measurements: The sapphire is approximately 9.0 x 9
....3mm. The head of the ring is approximately 15.5mm in diameter, and sits 4.9mm from the finger.
Weight: 5.30 grams.
