Description

Stunning large Bretby art pottery vase from the Clanta range, of lovely art nouveau, organic form. Moulded finish designed to simulate matt pewter and lustrous copper, with pseudo rivets and a hand hammered effect to the copper. A very clever and impressive effect. It is adorned with large Ruskin-style cabochons in bright jewel colours. Impressed factory mark and pattern number to the base. c.1900.

It measures 31cm (11 1/4") high and 19cm (7 1/2") wide.

In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear.
