. The sides of the shaped outline frame with vertical parcel-gilt panels of foliate carving . The perimeter of the frame and inner mirror surround with carved and incised parcel-gilt moulding details.

An impressive George II style mirror of bold scale and proportions in the manner of the celebrated mid C18th designer and architect, William Kent (1685-1748) influenced by the Palladian style.
Fitted with a clear silvered mirror plate with the original oak backboards to verso .
In excellent original condition with bright gilding and well-patinated mahogany frame .
