A Mid Victorian Silver, Mother-of-pearl & Bone Aide Memoire

A charming example of a silver mounted aide memoire from the mid Victorian era. This lovely piece has a sliding mother--of-pearl back and front cover, with exquisite carned floral detail. The mount is unmarked silver with engraved patterns and a catch. Inside the leaves are bone and marked with days of the week. Sunday is excluded as it was a day of rest. A wonderful collector's piece, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver, mother-of-pearl or bone leaves.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked, but tests as silver.
