An extremely rare unusual l17thc / e18thc wrought iron combined rushlight and candle holder c1700.

The only other similar light is in the v&a.

Last sold in 2012 christies masters and makers sale lot 412

A superb piece of ironwork measuring

No breaks , wear to rushlight arm .

There is an old repair to one of the 4 curved wrought iron supports.

Attributed to ireland although we have seen one other with a welsh attribution.

It measures 33cms h 14cms w 14cms d
