Description

A good quality antique Victorian Arts and Crafts rise and fall piano stool in beautifully figured inlaid rosewood dating from circa 1890. Featuring a recently recovered circular adjustable upholstered seat, on four shaped legs all inlaid throughout. In good condition with beautiful patina. Mechanism stamped with makers mark for “HOWE”.

Good condition, and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Very solid and sturdy. New fabric, upholstery sound. Rise and fall mechanism is good order. Inlay has been tested and is Ivorine (type of plastic).
