A beautifully elegant antique French mahogany bijouterie display table dating to the Belle Époque period, circa 1900, combining refined craftsmanship, decorative sophistication and practical functionality.
 
Expertly crafted in richly figured mahogany, this charming display table features an oval glazed top opening to reveal a luxurious velvet-lined interior, designed for the display and protection of jewellery, watches, silverware, collectibles and treasured objects. The glazed side panels allow contents to be admired from multiple angles, whilst the lower undertier shelf provides additional display or storage space.
 
The table is further enhanced with finely cast ormolu mounts, delicate gilt bronze mouldings and elegant fluted uprights terminating in graceful cabriole legs. The combination of rich mahogany veneers, quality bronze ornamentation and flowing Louis XV inspired lines perfectly captures the sophistication of the French Belle Époque era.
