Description

This handsome Victorian door stop / door porter which is made of heavy cast iron is nicely cast as a crouching lion and dates from the 19th century.

This good quality doorstop has nice detail with the top carrying loop being designed as the lion's tail and his claws gripping the front.

A very nice usable item that looks wonderful on display in your home.

Dimensions: Width: 16.5 cm (6 1/2"). Depth: 7.5 cm (3"). Height: 29.5 cm (11 1/2").

Weight: Just over 5 Kg.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with some age related wear leaving a wonderful patina. Nice original condition. Please see pictures.
