Original Drypoint of a Foal by Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (1895–1977)
A fine original drypoint etching by noted German artist Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (1895–1977), known for his sensitively observed animal subjects. This beautifully rendered portrait of a young foal is signed in pencil by the artist lower right and inscribed Original Radierung to the lower left.
Set behind glass in a double mount and presented in a good quality simulated walnut frame with ebonised inner moulding and gilt slip. A finely detailed and well-composed piece, full of charm and character.
Frame measures: 65.5 x 55 cm
Condition: Very good condition. The print remains clean and well-preserved. Frame with minor wear consistent with age.
