Antique Serpentine Bedside Walnut Chest C1940

A beautiful antique bedside chest / side cabinet, elegantly crafted with classic serpentine drawer fronts and rich figured walnut veneers.

This charming piece features four graduated drawers, each fitted with decorative original-style brass handles, offering practical storage while showcasing timeless period craftsmanship. The warm walnut grain across the top and drawer fronts is particularly striking, with lovely natural movement and colour variation that gives the cabinet real character.

Raised on shaped bracket feet, the cabinet has refined proportions, making it ideal as a bedside table, lamp table, or compact hallway storage piece. The visible dovetail joints to the drawers confirm quality traditional construction.

A versatile and highly decorative item that works beautifully in both traditional and modern interiors

Very good vintage condition.

Structurally sound, sturdy, and stable. Drawers run well. Minor age related marks, light surface wear, and small imperfections consistent with age and normal use, all adding to its authentic charm.
