L17thc Oak Slant Front Bible Box

Description

A superb patinated mid to late 17thc oak bible box with a most wonderful patina.

Completely original except for a change of flap hinges . Probably in the e 18thc as we are dating this as being made around 1660.

The carving is correct and the colour is superb

A super piece of period oak and as always offered with UK delivery included

It measures 55cms w 34cms d and 26cms h

All forms of payment including ccs etc
