A Really Fantastic Pair of Antique Victorian Brass Figural Candlesticks featuring a standing figure in period costume holding a slender column that rises to the candle cup. A shaped drip pan sits beneath each candle socket, with softly ruffled edges that echo a leaf or flower form. The bases are richly cast with Rococo-style scrollwork and foliage, giving the pair a strong nineteenth-century revival character – circa 1880.
 
*A pair like this brings instant period atmosphere to a mantelpiece, even before a candle is lit.
