Description

A Lovely WMF Art Nouveau Silver Plated Chamberstick Candlestick designed to be carried by hand and used at the bedside or around the home. The piece is formed as a naturalistic leaf, with softly ruffled edges and flowing relief that reflects early 20th century Jugendstil taste.

A substantial loop handle is integrated at the side, giving a secure grip and balancing the weight when moved while lit. The central candle socket rises from a sculptural base with petal-like modelling, creating a strong decorative focal point. Marked WMF on the handle – circa 1900.

* Set on a bedside table or sideboard, it becomes a small piece of atmosphere even before the candle is lit.
