Antique 17thc Charles 1 Yew Wood Joyned Stool With Attractive Detail On Legs. English C1625-40.

Just the best of all time and so rare, is this early 17thc Charles 1 Joyned stool....if you asked me my favourite type of furniture, it would always be joyned stools....but this one tops all the others,....not only is it made of Yew wood, with a wonderful ''burr Yew wood top'' but it is also very finely decorated on each leg with a fine lace pattern of the time....I have never seen a Yew wood stool before, yet one that is originally decorated on each leg....the colour is just the best...typical of a Yew claret in colour, resulting in a rich patina....it is certainly one for the collectors....little wonder it is already on reserve...!
