Description

A fabulous quality 19th century mahogany games table; with well polished flame mahogany figured top intricately crossbanded in varying timbers. Double solid leaves with foliate carved edge. The top leaf lifts to reveal cream baize top with game chip receptacles carved in the leaf.second leaf lifts to reveal storage compartment to the interior. Blind grecian key blind fretwork to the front with period escutcheon and working key/lock. Front also box sprung with foliate carving to the cabriolet legs, terminating on claw and ball feet. Overal excellent clean condition , lovely colour and patination, general usage wear and minor aesthetic shrinkage crack to veneer front right leg as per photos otherwise excellent overall condition , lovely slender feature piece of furniture.
