Founders Antiques has dated this Georgian Mahogany Bookcase Cabinet to the Georgian era.
Perfectly scaled for a townhouse drawing room, study or formal dining room.

The bookcase section houses three shelves, comprising a central fixed shelf positioned between two adjustable shelves, with both sections accompanied by later keys operating the locks. The piece separates into two for transit, the upper bookcase securing to the base with two internal screws.

Very good antique condition, with an excellent, richly time-worn surface patination throughout, some minor historic veneer repairs and stable veneer contraction lines consistent with age. Structurally sound and ready to place.
English, circa 1800.
