C. 1800, Yew and Elm, Stickback Windsor Armchair (English)
The chair has bentwood arm rests, saddle seat and a crinoline stretcher. The two front legs have lower egg and reel turnings.
CONDITION:
Very good condition, strong and structurally sound. The yew and elm has a wonderful patination throughout and is of a desirable warm glowing honey colour.
PROVENANCE:
From a country house in the Cotswolds (UK).
COLLECTION:
Buyer must collect, or arrange collection, from Westbury, Wiltshire.
