Antique Mythological Bird Brooch In 18ct Gold With Diamonds

A beautifully cast brooch in 18ct gold, possibly Zeus trying to seduce Leda, is set with one larger and 4 smaller diamonds. The diamonds are old cuts and weigh in total ca. 0.30ct. The casting is very ornate, with plenty of detail in body and wings. It dates from about 1880.
