French Mantle Clock Circa 1880

Description

A superb example of a 19th century portico Clock. The movement is of 8 day duration, needing to be wound once weekly, the movement has an outside count wheel and a Grid iron pendulum,

striking the full hours and the half hour on a cast bell giving a very pleasant mellow chime.

This most decorative Clock, has been recently overhauled and comes in full working order complete with pendulum and key.
