Antiques4EU has dated this Georgian Brass Chocolate Pot to the 18th Century.
This one the first to pass through our stock in over two decades ! Unsurprisingly, the pot is lacking it's hardwood stirrer / paddle, the correct name for which is a Molinillo, with which all early chocolate pots were necessarily equipped, the beverage requiring constant stirring as the chocolate settled so quickly.
