A most attractive Early 19th Century Antique English Victorian Papier-mâché Ladies Needlework Casket, profusely inlaid with abalone shell pearl and heightened with gilding. The two hinged panels decorated with images of churches, each within a framework of foliage, the handle fixed, the interior retaining it''s original lining paper. Sadly now with no Maker''s name, but merely the remains of a paper label which can be seen affixed to the base of the piece.
