The door has a very decorative satinwood panel inlaid with tied flowering Lillies in boxwood and green stained woods with an inlaid and pen worked banner which reads “ Purium Pulchrum Lillium” which is a Latin phrase translating in English as "The pure beautiful lily’’. The door opens to reveal a polished interior with 2 checker inlaid drawers between a shaped shelf. The cabinet is supported on ogee off set bracket feet, the sides having conforming satinwood and ebony stringing and whole in excellent original condition with Cedar wood linings and working lock with keys.
