A lovely old Victorian locket engraved with gorgeously detailed patterns of leaves and scrollwork. The inside does not contain glass or acetates; there are removable frames which can be used to secure your own pictures or photos. The locket comes ready to wear on a silver tone Prince of Wales style chain.

SIZE: The locket measures 4.4 x 3.5cm (not including the bail). The chain is approximately 24 inches (61cm) long.

TOTAL WEIGHT: 22.0g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The locket is hallmarked on the back for sterling silver, Birmingham 1880, and also stamped with the sponsor's mark EU. The inside is also hallmarked for sterling silver.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition, the inside is a little marked. The hinge and clasp are in good working order and the locket shuts securely with a pleasing snap.

ERA: Victorian, 1880.
