A fine late Victorian glazed bookcase above cupboard, fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed behind original glazed doors. The period glass retains its characteristic air bubbles and subtle imperfections, adding to the authenticity of the piece.
The lower section incorporates two short drawers above a pair of carved cupboard doors, each centred with an urn motif framed by flowing foliate decoration. Raised on a plinth base, the proportions are balanced and practical, making it equally suited to books, ceramics, or decorative objects.
A closely related companion bookcase is also available separately. This unit seperates into two sections to ease transportation.
Condition Report
In excellent antique condition. The lower left cupboard door has developed a slight historic bow. This is only noticeable on close inspection and does not affect function. Minor marks and wear are consistent with age.
