This can be folded over the side to reveal the stunning inset backgammon table below. There are two secret compartments that slide out during gameplay, useful for storing cards and chips. etc.
The whole top swivels to reveal a space which can be used to store cards and game pieces. The table is raised on four shaped legs, is a wonderful example of Syrian furniture and is a very pretty decorative piece.
The table is exquisitely crafted in hardwood and features wonderful inlaid decoration comprising ebony, bone, walnut and various fruitwoods.

These functional pieces of art are beautifully inlaid with carved and hand-painted designs and motifs, or sometimes a combination of other woods, known as mosaic wood.
